Impression brand identity. The outcome.

After choosing my strapline and final logo, it was time to look at the brand applications. Since Impression is a publishing studio, the main applications would be for exlibris, business cards, publishing logo for books…

I was quite happy with the result of my logo and the statement it made but after my feedback I realised that the logo itself draws attention to the word PRESS, and I have to decide wether that’s the impact I want or not and also think about the usage in black and white or monochrome prints that would change the meaning of the logo completely. Also, since it’s a letterpress scanned logo, it can be retouched so it looks more defined.
