Brand book (visual identity guidelines)

The first step before starting to work page by page on indesign, was to come up with the content, and after researching for different brand book examples I came up with a list of essencials.

-About the brand (manifesto)

-Target audience

-Logo identity

-Brand colours

-Brand applications

After this I opened up indesign, created grid to follow and came up with a single style for the book containing all my colout palette in a simple way.

Brand book research

The final thing to do for my Brand that can brief is to do a brand book.

I did not know what this was until I started researching about it. At first I thought it was our brand presentation put together into a book plus further developments, but it is more than that, still being simple.

After scrolling down throught lots of websites I found one that had very clear examples and styles.

Now time to start working on mine!

The shadows research

From the list of photographers we recieved to research , my fauvorite one by far was George Rousee, a french artist and photographer. What impressed me the most, was the way he mixed hisown  paintings on a certain site and photograph them in a way and angle that it creates shapes.

It got me thinking that as a designer, the way u can photograph your work can create beautiful series with perfect layout that have a relationship between them.
